Capabilities:
Design process

Hospitality design experience in more than 26 hospitality projects in all stages of production with a high level of proficiency in the following areas:
- hotel space planning and related architectural design, including back of house workflow and space planning
- creating and developing area schedules according to brand expectations, numbers of keys and F+B products
- understanding of branding requirements in relation to cost-effective construction methods achieving the most efficient and desired design result
- quick set up of graphic presentations for presentation and explanation of concepts to owners, operators and project team
- effective communication of concept ideas in order to maintain design principles in face of construction issues regarding deadlines and costs
- technology: depth of knowledge and experience in AutoCAD, Photoshop, in design, sketch up, ms project and proforma pm software
- technical detailing and standardization of the design products (keys) as to make future operations more efficient
PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND OPERATIONS
Proficiency in the following areas:
- establish and manage client relationships and adapt in resolving conflicts
- create staffing plans; manage project teams and professional consultants for multiple projects
- preparation of design proposals and bids
- review of design agreements, miscellaneous contracts and negotiation of same
- develop business plans, project budgets and cost controls
- organize and manage the initial process of environmental, zoning, surveys, assessment of site conditions, traffic studies, adjacent structures etc. for project kick off meetings
- coordination of planning permit process and governmental issues
- lead and manage complex projects from conception through completion with a sensitivity to the relationship between design and the business objective
- establish and monitor schedules – identifying critical paths, milestones and constraints
- perform site survey for potential projects and bd proposals
- Following closely the industry trends through hospitality conferences (hicap, chic etc)and and workshops
